“We recently completed an entire kitchen renovation. Our contractor, Reither Construction was amazing to work with throughout the entire project. The crew was courteous and respectful at all times. Our project had a wide scope of construction needs; including moving walls, venting, new ceiling and floors. John and his crew were professional, courteous, prompt and reliable. The finished kitchen is more than we had hoped for. Thank you so much!
I would highly recommend.”

Valerie Ferraro,

“I had a great experience with John and all of the people who work with Reither Construction. The were very professional and accommodating to my needs during a lengthy kitchen renovation. The quality of their work is excellent. During the time they were in my home they were able to do additional work that had not originally been planned, and completed everything in a timely manner. Finally, everyone who worked on my project was personable and a delight to have in my home. I highly recommend this company.”
Mona Wineburg,

“We hired Reither Construction to overhaul our large master bathroom including new heated floor tile, walk-in shower and big tub area. They did an excellent job! Their bid was clear and complete and when surprises came up later in the job they were ready with solutions to choose from including cost/schedule implications. All of their staff were polite and tidy, minimizing the impacts of the project to the rest of our house and our family. And the best part is that we love the end result – all the way down to the fine details!”
Andrea Plumhoff,

“This is the 2nd project John has done for us. We’re planning another bathroom & wouldn’t ever use anyone else. John goes above & beyond our expectations . Call John first.”
Jodi Morgan,

“We hired Reither Construction to help us with what was to us a daunting project to renovate our kitchen, including installation of all new cabinets, granite and appliances, and install matching cabinets and granite in several adjoining rooms. We have an open design in the main floor of our home and we had spent many months analyzing and reanalyzing the flow of colors, textures and patterns through each of the rooms. It was critically important that who we hired to install everything was appreciative of and sensitive to those efforts. John and his crew have done a wonderful job of not only installing everything, but doing so in a manner that respected our design. When the need arose for modifications, the crew cheerfully tackled them. Other times, they raised with us their own ideas for potential enhancements that we appreciated and, in some instances, implemented. They took the time to keep the work area clean and reducing the inevitable dust and mess. John and his crew were always polite and easy to work with. We will use Reither Construction again for future construction projects and heartily recommend them to others.”
Nanc & Winn Halverhout,

“Our designer, Jan Neiges, CKD, recommended Reither Construction for our master bathroom remodel. We planned to transform our 1989 carpeted bathroom with a small shower and garden tub to a new space with a much larger shower and Japanese soaking tub. They replaced all the fixtures and vanity. They reworked the plumbing and installed new flooring, Robbern medicine cabinets, and heated floor. John and his excellent team made this two-month process very easy. They showed up when they said they would, kept the workspace tidy, and solved several design dilemmas with great ideas. When the new tub wouldn’t fit through the front door, they offered options, and calmly waited while we decided what to do. They answered all our questions and were very patient with us in the decisions that had to be made. We were very pleased and satisfied with Reither Construction’s work and hope to use them when we remodel our kitchen. Their professionalism was outstanding.”
Susan Brennan,

“I have done two projects with Reither Construction so far and I can’t say enough positive things about John and his team. They are professional, honest, and reliable. Clients are happy to have them onsite and the quality of their workmanship is fantastic. I would highly recommend Reither Construction.”
Laura Pask Interiors,

“Reither Construction did a full bathroom remodel for our main floor bathroom in our small 1940s house. The crew was prompt, courteous and did a great job. Very friendly and professional!”
Kristi Burgert,

“We hired Reither Construction to remodel/update our 25 year old suburban home – including complete kitchen remodel, new fireplace and surround, and new flooring/trim – and were very pleased with the entire process. The quality of workmanship and construction was fantastic! The crew showed up on time, worked hard and are clean and courteous. They pride themselves in doing the job correctly without the typical delays associated with major projects. John Reither was a reliable straight-shooter and we would highly recommend Reither Construction for any home project.”
Sarah and Paul Mathis,
“Reither Construction performed a whole house remodel on our 1970s era home. What a find! We are 100% perfectly satisfied with the professionalism and workmanship of this company. John Reither and his crew showed up on time, gave us plenty of lead time to make decisions, never rushed us, offered great design options we would have never thought of, gave us a price and never exceeded the bid (unless we wanted to upgrade, of course). We’re thoroughly pleased and love our new home! Don’t waste time and money like we did looking for a cheaper option. He told me on my first phone call ‘I won’t be the cheapest, but I will be the best.’ And, indeed, he was! Spend the money to have it done right the first time. You’ll be glad you did!”
John and Cindy Hughes,

“I recently acquired a 1938 home in the Bonnie Brae area of Denver. The home was beautiful, but was in need of an update! John and his team gave me several ideas on how to improve things and how to get the “most bang for my buck”. Reither Construction did a complete kitchen remodel for me and the outcome was better than I had ever imagined! John is truly a craftsman and a professional and I would give him my highest recommendation!”
Dawn Thompson,
“I am completely thrilled with my kitchen remodel as well as the mud room and new patio door and bathroom updating that they did for me. They were all very professional, on time, cleaned up the house daily and very pleasant and accommodating during the entire project. The project had a 7 week delay, not due to Reither Construction but because the wrong cabinets were ordered by a distributor I chose, and they worked to accommodate this glitch very professionally. John helped tremendously getting new cabinets ordered as well as appliances, counters and all plumbing fixtures. Everything was finished beautifully and every detail perfect. I highly recommend them. They are a superb group, pleasant , clean, nice and just all around great guys with perfectionist attitudes with their work.”
Vicki Machanic,
“Reither Construction made our master bathroom remodel dreams come true! John, the owner, listened to our needs and developed a great plan with innovative ideas. Having been through a lot of remodeling on our home, it was important to us to hire a professional, reputable company. The quality of their work, reliability, and attention to detail exceeded our high standards and expectations. During our job, they arrived on time everyday, ran a clean jobsite with little disruption to us, communicated throughout the whole process, and finished when they said they would. His crew of skilled craftsmen truly work miracles with cabinets and tile. We have never been so lucky to work with such a great company and will use them again. Thank goodness we found Reither Construction.”
Carl and Denise Markey,
“Our project was a master-bath update, remodel, including a custom shower, new tub and decking, floor and vanity top. Workmanship is excellent and was completed in the estimated time attention was used to maintain the cleanliness of our home during the process and the workers were friendly as well as reliable.
Larry and Karen Stucky,
“Our basement finish included demolition of several existing walls, window replacement, a storage area, a great room, one bedroom, a beautiful bathroom, and an amazing wet bar area. We had an excellent experience with Reither Construction and John Reither. We started with an idea of what we wanted for our finished basement — rooms needed, costs, etc. He took our preliminary plans and spent time drafting a design based on our sketches. John definitely has an eye for aesthetics and construction realities. He revised the plans several times before having a contract with us. We are very pleased with the end product!

John was very responsive to our ideas and needs, our budget and overall goals and finished on schedule! He kept in contact by e-mail, text, and phone to handle any issues that came up during the project. He provided excellent suppliers for materials and products. He, his workers, and subcontractors were considerate and respectful of our property and house. Our house was left clean at the end of each day. Over the course of several months there was very little disruption to our daily life.  We highly recommend Reither Construction and John Reither for finishing a basement or any remodeling project.

Bart and Sharon Stevens,
“Look no further than Reither Construction for your remodeling needs.  John and his crew have done a number of projects for me during the past 2 years:  remodeling of two bathrooms, remodeling the kitchen, building an entry way for my home; installing a new deck; and installing two home entry doors and a garage door.  He has a proven track record; I would not consider anyone else to do my work.  I couldn’t have asked for a more disciplined and hard working group than John and his crew.  To top it all off, they are friendly and respectful.  I consider them to be trustworthy, and it was quite unnecessary for me to be at home while they were working.

Reither Construction takes pride in what they do and they did beautiful work for me.

John Reither is business like, reliable, yet has a very good sense of humor and is very pleasant.  I highly recommend him for anyone’s construction needs.”

Phyllis Vandehaar,
“Our project involved remodeling our entire ground floor, including gutting the entire kitchen, mapping out a new footprint, and moving doorways and ceiling lighting to create greater efficiency and visual appeal.  Reither Construction exceeded expectations across the board.  John’s designs, suggestions, and recommended vendors made our decision making quite easy.  Labor costs were explained ahead of time, and while a few costs actually went down, none of them ever went up.  The project was started on time, and the crew arrived first thing in the morning every day.  The entire crew was quite professional, very responsive to our requests, communicative, and obviously skilled.  The end result was great.  We would recommend Reither Construction without hesitation, and will be using them in the future to remodel the upper level.
Jim & Cindy Mitchell,
“Remodel bathroom – counter, sink, toilet, bathtub, tile, carpet, hot water heater, faucets and water pressure regulator.  Thank you so much.”
Linda Williams,
“New kitchen, master bath, powder room, cabinets and plumbing fixtures, tile floors, wood floors on main level, new carpet upstairs, paint entire house, remove popcorn ceilings.  Good work and great staff – very accommodating.”
Margo Blu,
“I hired Reither Construction to remodel my kitchen and paint and install new flooring in my entire house.  I am so pleased with the end result!  Reither Construction excelled in workmanship quality, integrity and attention to detail.  I would recommend John and his crew to everyone.”
Carol Conley,
“From February to August 2015 our efforts to engage a contractor to remodel our 1960’s era small condo kitchen following plans we developed (with Laura Pask, our kitchen designer) met with disappointment. For example, potential contractors failed to return phone calls, or neglected to submit promised bids, or, in the most egregious instance, failed to follow through on the contract after we had in good faith waited several months (at the contractor’s request) for this contractor to begin work.

And then our Laura introduced us to John Reither of Reither Construction, LLC, who agreed to meet with us. From the start, John was thoroughly professional. He advised us that he would not be able to match the bid of the contractor who had most recently jilted us, noting several factors (especially the cost of inspections and sub-contracted electrical work). With our go-ahead, John quickly developed a reasonable bid which accounted for all foreseeable expenses. The kitchen remodeling project involved removal of all existing cabinets, light fixtures and appliances (except for a two year old stove) followed by installation of cork flooring, bamboo cabinets and glass-tile backsplash and performing both necessary plumbing and electrical work (including upgrading the system to meet the latest Denver building codes) and overseeing installation of new appliances.

As promised in the agreement we signed with John on September 9, all planned work was fully executed along with a few change orders (such as the design and installation of sliding doors to allow for closing off the kitchen from the dining area when desired and the installation and painting of molding above some existing sliding closet doors). Before beginning the work, John’s subcontractor Michael took paint samples from our kitchen to be sure that there was no lead in the paint. We were impressed by, and pleased with, such scrupulousness regarding workplace safety–and the ultimate safety of our kitchen. We were even more pleased when we saw that there was no lead in the paint–and we now had documentation of that fact.

When we originally planned the remodeling we expected it to be completed before July and thus had arranged for a trip during September. John and his subcontractor Michael and the electrician continued work during our absence. Our confidence in them was such that we gave them a key to our apartment and to the common areas to use while we were away. Reither Construction representatives all worked within the rules of our Homeowners’ Association, following all the requirements for contractors, such as hours of work, disposal of construction materials, and access to common areas such as the elevator and garage entrance of the building. We received no complaints from anyone — neighbors on our floor or above or below us, the on-site building manager, on the board of directors.

We would hire John Reither and company again in a heartbeat should we have another remodeling project. We are grateful to have worked with John; and commend him for his attention to detail, his courteous and frequent communication via email or telephone or in-person, and ability to keep to the tight schedule he set for himself and his sub-contractors. Thanks to Laura Pask for her design work and for introducing us to John and to Reither Construction for bringing our kitchen plans to life.

The bottom line is this: we’re just getting to know our new kitchen (they just finished yesterday), but so far we love everything about it. Maureen Patrick”
